Walk4Hearing

A few words from a good friend

“Hearing loss sees no age, race, religion, or gender. It can and most likely will affect everyone at some point in their lifetime directly or indirectly. Personally, having a mother who is hard of hearing, I’ve seen firsthand how frustrating a simple dinner conversation can be to her, often times making her feel excluded. We often take our hearing for granter. I think in our age of iPhone’s and ear-buds and naturally loud environments, that we need to be cautious of those effects on our sensitive ears too. The Walk4Hearing was created to spread awareness on how to prevent hearing loss and to spread the word on the resources available to those who need it.” Abbey Acevedo
